Our Plastics

Carbon
Carbon is our baseline plastic.
Carbon has the lowest durability in our plastic line-up. We call it carbon because carbon is the base element for many things in our world including humans. Carbon is an essential element and will be an essential element in your bag for all discs we make from it.
Helium
Helium is another baseline plastic, but it has a premium feel.
The helium is out ultralight plastic and can reach weights on most products as low as 125g.
This plastic is perfect for kids and beginning players. Even advanced players like to throw the Honey in the Helium plastic for the extra glide this plastic gives discs.
Quartz
Quartz is our first premium. Previously we called it Diamond plastic because of the pure unadulterated nature of this plastic and outstanding durability. Gateway wanted this name and began using it in 2016.
So we changed the name to quartz because like quartz this plastic holds energy well and when you get a pure quartz crystal it is like glass. As such our quartz plastic also is designed to be completely translucent.
Mica
Our Mica plastic is a blend between out Quartz and Mercury plastics.
It is a premium plastic with the feel and durability of quartz while maintaining the beauty aesthetic of Mercury.
Mercury
Mercury plastic was named as such because as a premium plastic it is soft and has a metallic sheen.
This plastic is great for people who want a little extra grip over what the quartz plastic provides.
Phosphor
Phosphor is our glow plastic.
It is a glow premium blend that feels like quartz, but is opaque so that it can obtain the optimum glow capabilities.
