Essential Discs Scholarship
Are you in college? Do you play for your competitive team? Then you are in the right place.
We here at Essential Discs know that college is an important step for many people. We understand that expenses arise during the year that may or may not have been accounted for.
We are committed to helping the future generation of disc golfers alleviate the burden of the cost of higher education. As such we have developed this scholarship program.
Our scholarship program is funded through sales, and 1% of everything we take in will be going directly to this program.
We are offering two scholarships. One to a male and one to a female disc golfer who play competitive disc golf for their school.
Each recipient will receive a $500 scholarship to use as they choose. This includes tuition, books, room and board, and even entry fees related to their team.
Scholarship Applications will be open from 1/1/24 until 7/1/2024. Front running nominees will be announced in August 2024 and the scholarship winners will be announced and scholarships sent 9/1/2024.
Eligibility
What must I do to be Eligible for the scholarship?
To be considered for the scholarship, You MUST:
1. Fill out the form below.
2. Attend an accredited college in the United States.
3. Be part of your schools Disc Golf Collegiate Competitive Team.
4. Maintain a GPA over 2.5
5. Your team must be registered with College Disc Golf.
6. Be registered with the Professional Disc Golf Association. No number = No Scholarship
7. Please send your current school roster to custserv@essential-discs.com once your scholarship application is submitted.
